I replaced all the lower Turnbuckles this year using Norsemans.
I am very satisfied

We put Norsemans on all our wire, using 316 Dyform wire. The first one took
some getting used to but the instructions are very clear and by the 3rd one
we were doing them at a rate of 1 every 5-10 minutes including cutting the
wire. Cutting the wire - wow that was are real, hmmm an inch this way or is
it better an inch that way ; )
Have had them on for the last 7 years with no problems - I would highly
recommend them. Big advantage, you only need to get new forming cones (about
$7 ea) and can reuse the terminals many times over. They are massively
overbuilt so there is only one financial ouch. Just follow the instructions.
Staloc uses basically the same principle and whether Norseman or Staloc you
will have much better peace of mind with no crappy banana swages or risk of
cracks. Swages are only as good as the operator and the equipment and
usually I have seen of late the dies have not been in good shape or size and
so hard points seem to be formed by retrofit suppliers. I think the Norseman
or Staloc is the much better way to go.
