[alberg30] Mast Support

I own a 1967 Alberg 30 with the laminated wood beam mast support.  So far 
there are no problems.  I understand however, that there is a modification 
with a steel support which I would like to do as a preventative measure.  Can 
anyone provide me with the details or drawings of exactly how this 
modification is done?
