Hi Gordon,
What nice memories.
The ironfastenings were probably the limiting factor in her original
longevity. When Nichols replanked in cypress, if he used non-ferous metal, he
probably extended her life indefinitely, or nearly so. After all, she is still
wood, and we both know what that means!
