    For what it's worth, my pole is 10 ft 11 inches long. It is made of
aluminum spar tubing 2 1/2" dia. with wood plugs in each end to which
the bronze trigger fittings are attached. My boat is # 275. The pole
looks rather old (but serviceable) It has a  double bridle.
