As for the wires, just make sure the lengths are appropriate and 
the connectors are right.  I prefer molded connectors to crimp-on
ones.

The distributor cap depends on which distributor you have, but
it's probably the Delco distributor.  Newer ones generally are.

Do you have a part number for the replacement coil you got?
