[alberg30] waterline/trim ?

Tom,

All A30's seem to sit a little high in the bow.  I've often wondered
if that's a consequence of Whitby using cast iron ballast instead of
the lead that Carl Alberg specified.  Of course, the factors that
you mention will increase this tendency.
