As to stove preferences, we have a Force 10 kerosene diesel heater and
love it.  We use kerosene in it as it burns cleaner.  We have it mounted
on the starboard bulkhead.  The tank which came with it is really much
bigger than is necessary. We mounted behind the stove in the hanging
locker.  We used the stove for an hour or so every morning for 6 weeks
this summer in Maine and only filled the tank once.

We bought the stove in '90.  I am not sure if they still sell the diesel
model.
