Dear Lee,
	Your obsevationson the extended ramifications of the rear seat/ worm gear
arrangement were eye opening.
	Also, your idea of a parallelogram of tubing for a tilting pedestal is
mechanically and mathematically inventive and intriguing, but I'm afraid the
look would be more silicon than salty. My thoughts for that ran along lines of
a standard pedestal that pinioned below the deck with a linkage that would
transmit wheel motion through the pinion. Also, it might be possible to mount
a right angled pedestal through the bridge deck bulkhead forward in the
cockpit.
