Please do not send warnings about con tricks and viruses to the
Alberg 30 lists.

1. These topics are not what these lists are for.  While it may
seem that an emergency warrants spreading information by any
available means, what really happens is that all means of
communication become so filled with extraneous noise that 
they no longer function effectively.

2. Often these warnings are phoney.  When they are real, such as
the phone warning, they are still generally obsolete.  Very
few people have the PBXs that support this particular scam.

3. There are much better places to check out such things.  In
particular, I recommend two web sites:
