Adam -

My reason for changing the sheave is that I want to go to an all-rope
halyard.  The old pulley is grooved for wire, and marginal on width for 3/8"
or 7"16" rope.  There is also not enough clearance above the sheave or the
rope, but this is easy to fix.

Hope this makes more sense now.
