Hi Bob,

Question 1) The rolling hitch should be about 6 inches aft of the leach
cringle when the foot of the reef is maximaly stretched.  As you say, further
aft, and you are not pulling down, further forward, and you don't have enough
room to flatten the foot of the reef.

Question 2) Only one reef is pulling on the fiddle block at a time, so the
fiddle block positions  itself in response to the pull from the reef that is
currently being used.
