Ahoy:
As I'm wont to do in the off-season, I usually park my Garmin 75 on the
dashboard of my car when travelling inter-city. (This is my way of
rationalizing any posssible disputes between police radars and my
speedometer. On average, I'd say I'm 2 kph over on the GPS with the
speedometer at 115 to 120 kph - roughly 70 to 75 mph.)
Last Tuesday, driving between Ottawa and Montreal, I swear it took half
an hour to initiallize the unit. After that it worked fine, with no
apparent excessive SA.
Anyone any idea? Has "Saddam" Milosevic driven Uncle Sam to diddle
with the initial signals?
Cheers
