Joe,
I do not have genuine motor mounts per sa on my 1970 Alberg and there is
very little vibration. My Atomic 4 is bolted to a piece of flat iron on the
forward end which in turn is bolted directly to the fiberglass attachments
point molded into the hull liner on either side. Between the flat iron and
the hull liner is a 3/16" to 3/8" thick piece of hard rubber which acts, I
suppose, as sort of a cushion/shock absorber. The aft end of the engine is
similarly attached, absent the flat iron.
