On Isa Lei I have a three blade, I haven't found the sailing ability hurt 
noticably.  I have found that under power it is great.  The ability to 
actually back the boat, help pull someone off a sandbar and of course the 
little bit of extra speed on those (too common) windless days here on the 
Chesapeake.
