My boat has either a 16 or 18 gal metal tank installed in the starboard 
locker.   I'm not suer, because I've never had it empty.Previous owner put it 
in about a year before I bought the boat.  Bitched a lot about how hard it 
was.  Cruising, I usualy have some sails in the port locker, and a lot of ice 
and food in the icebox.  My batteries are in the bilge.  Only problem I have 
is that the tank will just not take gas very fast.  Albergers I talked to in 
Sarnia seemed to have the same problem.  Perhaps spiders in the vent tube??
I try to keep the stern as light as I can.  My boat does not like to drag her 
stern, slows her right down.  Russ
