Hi,
KC is the national symbol for Canada yachts. The K is from the British,
meaning Canada was part of the commonwealth,  The C is for Canada. Australia
is KA.  England is simply K., for the King.  But, I have noticed that newer
British racing boats have GBR on their mains, Great Britain, I assume, so
maybe with so many commonwealth countries gaining complete independence, the
classification has been changed.
