Just a note: Going around the world under sail, in any kind if boat is quite a
feat.  Back in 1986 I had a chance to ttalk to and see a slide show put on by
a young man named Jim  ..... who sailed around the world, alone in a pearson
Triton. He left from Mt Clemens, Mich, on the Clinton river, where I keep my
boat, at the tender age of 18.  He left with only $200 in his pocket. and
planned on working to pay his way, which he did.. Before he left, he removed
his engine also, looking for storage space, and turned into a vegatarian.  He
walked across every Island that he stoped at, and spent time with ex-
headhunters in Borneo.  Took him about 3 years.  I'm suprised that I haven't
seen his story in a book.
