If you go to your marine store, with the make and model of the old unit, they
should be able to identify the transducer frequency, and then tell you what
other makes and models will work with your existing, installed transducer.  On
second thought you will have to check with a place that does repairs, most
store sales people probably won't have a clue as to what you are asking.

The Newmar company has a transducer substitution list that some technicians
have.
