I have used for years with great success a combination of solar powered vent
in the forward hatch and a product that is in powder form called Di-Gas. I
put this stuff in a couple of old gym socks and hang it in a discreet corner
of the cabin. This lasts for about 60 days and I only notice a little mildew
as the bag becomes empty. Do not hang this over a bunk or galley as it is
pretty toxic.
