Jim,

I'd advise not putting on a barrier coat unless you've really dried
out the hull.  I think one reason that the Albergs don't blister is
that the gelcoat is relatively porous.  I've heard of bad blistering
*after* barrier coating, and think it's due to sealing in moisture.
My advise is to be very careful and not create a problem where one
doesn't exist.  It would be worth checking with a moisture meter
before doing any work.
