While having my boat surveyed at a yard in Norfolk, I watched them shoot off
a bottom with dry ice pellets. It is the same principal as a sand blaster
only does not wreck the gelcoat. I have no idea of the cost but it did a
nice job with no damage(except maybe in the wallet).
