Gordon, I've painted my cabin inside with latex, exterior house paint.  It 
looks great, and most house paints have anti-neldew stuff in them.  Before 
you paint, clean everything with Tile-x, let it dry, and air out before 
painting.  Perhaps more ventalation would help?  I painted lockers and 
everything and I don't have any mildew at all.
