Rudy, if you get to the Detroit area I will take you out for a sail. Free, 
because I don't have a captains licence.  Perhaps you should start with a 
small trailerable boat, just to learn a little, before you get a 30 footer,  
But some folks start off with a 30 these days.  If you have any future plans 
to come to this area, please let me know in advance, and I'll try to arrange
