Shawn, the use of 30 weight single weight oil is the reccomend oil.  It will 
take at least 3 1/2 guarts,  this puts it above the full level on my 
dipstick, but it is because of the angle.  I don't put in five qts because I 
have a worry about the oil level hitting the crank.  Also, use a lead 
substitue when you put in gas.  It comes in small bottles, "Relead", and 
perhaps others.  This prevents valve damage that was not a problem with 
leaded gas.
