If no luck with the plate, or bill of sail, you might have the number on the 
main sail, of course this assumes that it is the right number there.  

On the zinc question, on Isa Lei I use a hull zinc with a heavy wire to the 
engine.  To protect the prop and shaft I put a jumper wire across the flex 
coupling.
