Hi Tom:
Just in case you want to hedge your bets as far as offending the gods, there is
a ceremony you can undertake as part of the renaming.  We did it in September
when we renamed our recently purchased A30, Anilavara(Skt for Wind Lover).
You'll find a description of the ceremony at the 48 degrees North web site - or
search under "Vigor's interdenominational boat denaming ceremony"(sorry, my
printout doesn't include the address).  Even if you don't believe in this stuff
it can be an entertaining event - an excuse for gathering friends and family.
