Hi gang,
Stargazer came with a Sailmaster autopilot.  Looks like a late '60's thing- 
big, rectangular gray sheet metal box, with limited controls. Manual has no 
date, but also has that late '60's style. Haven't tried it yet.  Found a 
second one at a garage sale, and picked it up for spare parts.  Don't know if 
either works.  Eventualy, I plan on getting a windvane, servo-pendulum 
system.  The one that Yves Gelinas has in his circumnavigation video seems to 
be excellent.  In the video, you can see it steering the boat downwind in 
zephyrs, under various sail combos.
I hate to steer!
