I tried this with a small pump & float switch, but the damn thing floated! I
ended up using a thin (3/16") piece of aluminum plate & screwing the pump &
switch to it. I ran the discharge through one of the cockpit scupper hoses.
My manual pump discharge hose I just drape over the side.
