I use a Danforth 22 w/20 ft of 1/4 H. Test  chain it does  a  great job until 
it bent  while anchored in 16 ft of water and a squall came by at more than  
40 plus  mls  for couple  hours .   I just  bought a fortress guardian  for 
my  next cruise. It should be  much  lighter  for my  back  when retrieving. 
I do  sail solo most of the time.  I also have  plow  25#  w/20 ft of chain 
5/16  i think
