[alberg30] Auto pilot question

Tom,

Most people mount the autopilot in the starboard locker seat. I didn't like
that idea, because it would mean removing the starboard cushion. I used
a cantilever mount from Autohelm that I mounted on the coaming (with a
piece of teak behind it to adjust the angle). This has a rod that threads
into the mount and extends out over the seat. This rod has holes at
one inch intervals to accept the autopilot. I do have to unscrew the
rod to open the starboard locker.
