Lokman,

Congratulations on your new boat.  The manufacturer's plate should
be just below the companionway, above the bridgedeck, if it hasn't
been removed.  It's an aluminum plate that has probably faded until
the stamped number is the only thing that's readable.  The Alberg
Association has a stock of plates to sell to members.  The serial
number on the plate will confirm the year, but I'd bet it's about
a 1964.  Maybe someone with an older boat can chime in, if they
know.

The maintenance manual is also available to association members,
though stocks are getting low.  I encourage you to join the
Association.  A strong class association provides a source for
knowledgeable advice and helps maintain the value of the boats.

You can get an application form by sending an email with a 
subject line of "send application.pdf" to "info-request at alberg30.org".
(Leave out the quotation marks.)
