Peter, that is just another thing to consider.  I only had a small single 
block up there when I bought the boat, and that fall, I found out that it was 
jammed so badly that I threw it away....got a better block, put the whole 
furlung thing away, and have only used hanked on sails ever since, with a 
rope halyard.
I like that better.
