re towing a heavy trailer with a Honda: if it's stick shift, be sure not
to slip the clutch. If it's automatic, watch the fluid temp. Of course
the only way to do that is be careful and gentle.

re diesels: I have 21 hp Westerbeke that is about ten years old. I find
21 hp will exceed hull speed for an Alberg in calm water but gives
enough power to
buck a headwind. It does have enough weight, with full tanks, to make
her squat a little, aft.
