This year I put in a rebuilt Atomic 4 from Don Moyer in PA. If it is at
all possible I would acquire a rebuilt from Don as he does a first rate job
on all his engines and I think the Atomic 4 is a great match for the Alberg.
I think that if I had an unlimited budget I would probably think about a new
Yanmar diesel but the cost to refit for a diesel is extremely high and is it
really worth it. Theres nothing like a gas engine when your motoring with
only a slight breeze on the stern and you arent smelling the telltale signs
of a diesel. Don will send you a new rebuilt without a core exchange. Good
Luck.
