Greatidea, Joe,but Like all "Mad Scientists", you never think of the funding.
$5000 for a Triad and you still need a Travelift and a 3/4 ton plus pickup.
$25, 000 for the hydraulic "wishbone" type that can lift a boat off the 
ground.
And then, what about insurance (on the trailer, on the boat being hauled, 
liability)?
Sometimes it just pays to rent.

Now, if we could persuade someone who ALREADY OWNS ONE to amortize his 
investment by renting...?
