[alberg30] Chainplate info

I removed my chainplates to rebed and hopefully stop the minor leaks.  Am I
losing it or did I read on this list a recommendation to beef up the bolts
which attach the chainplates to the bulkhead.  Also, any
recommendation/opinion on whether backing plates are advisable.
