[alberg30] which winch and used sails

I will be leading all halyards aft to the cockpit this winter.  Any ideas on type of winch?  Looking for size and make that is currently used out there.  Also, looking for good condition mains and jibs.
 Anybody have luck with reinforcing mast beam?
