I'll second-third and fourth that!!! I had a tarp leak over one of the
cockpit hatches last winter, and had to do MAJOR stripping to get the
black motor oil bilge crud off the cabin sole, teak sides, drawers etc.
not to mention a TOTAL de-mildewing job, cleaning all fabric etc. etc. I
will certainly remove that hose this year!!!! Major catastrophe is
pretty accurate...
