Hi Rose-au,
I don't know if you have seen my previous posts, but I bought a main from Lee 
sails, from Cal, in Patchogue, NY

At the 98 Atlantic City boat show, I got a qoute from just about every 
sailmaker there.  The show price from Lee was about 1000 bucks all inclusive, 
including 2 rows of reefs.

The sail was ready in early May, if I remember correctly.  The sail was very 
well made, with alot of good handwork at the tack, clew, etc.  Batten pockets 
and reef reinforcements were also well crafted.

Only problem was I had not specified how deep I wanted the rows of reefs.  It 
didn't occur to me that you had when ordering a main.  But, I should have, 
because the 2nd reef is not as deep as I would have liked the first reef to 
be.

So, if you are very specific about what you want, the Lee sails is the best 
deal for a good cruising main.
