[Alberg30] Boom Vangs

Has anyone installed a Garhauer Solid Boom Vang?
If yes:    Which model?    About how much $?   How do you like it and why?   What info did you have to give them in order to get a correct fit?   Did you actually remove your topping lift (or, is the vang adequate for holding up the boom)?    Other comments?
