[Alberg30] Broken forestay

Thanks to all those who responded.  I've decided to do the fittings myself, send my son up the mast to attach the top fitting (his 160 lbs. is more appropriate for the lifted while my 240 is more appropriate for the lifter) and we'll finish the bottom and go sailing.  Maybe we'll head across Lake Huron from Cheboygan to Parry Sound.  Any advice for a first time user of a bosun's chair.  Son #1 is a rock climber but this will be our first try up the mast.
