Hi Hugh: You were asking about hardwood prices. I am from southern Ontario
in Canada (we sail on Lake Huron). I inquired only last week at a local
hardwood dealer. He says he can't get Philliphine Mahogany anymore but had
Honduras Mahonany for $7.50 BdFt Canadian.
Most of his other woods such as cherry and walnut are priced similarly. Oak
is a little cheaper. $7.50 Cdn is $5.00 US at current exchange rates. He
had teak as well but I don't recall the price.
