This past Sunday night while watching a mardi gras parade, a friend of
mine who is a inland water guide fisherman, suggested that I should
consider making money with my boat.He didn't think it was such a far
fetched idea, and there is nonone within a hundred mile radius who gives
sailing lessons or charters sail boat, not even in New Orleans. In fact
I'd have to go to the Mississippi Gulf coast to find charters.I would
like to hear from anyone who has ever tried chartering, with an Alberg?
Now I believe somewhere along the line, but can't remember where, that
I've read that to charter in the U.S,boat must be of U.S manufacture?
If so,can lessons be given with Alberg in U.S.Were all Albergs built in
Canada? If I were to give this a go it would be done in inside waters
only,do you think a Catamaran would be better to carry more and a little
more spacious for daily outings? My A30 with 4 passengers on board would
not be overcrowded for day trips, but there is one boat I would be
interested in if I were to move up.Has anyone had experience with morgan
38,full swing keel,3'9" draft.I'd like to hear from anyone to get feed
back on this subject, and sailing characteristics of morgan,as compared
to Albergs.
