[Alberg30] engine-gear-prop combinations & more

hello, I have recently aquired an Alberg 30, Winjanda, It has no inboard 
engine, the last inboard was a yanmar and was sold sometime in its traumatic 
past. I would like to know what engine, gear and prop combinations work for 
you. I am looking for an engine and would appreciate your input. I am also 
wondering how I might find some of the things (what do you call them?) that 
ride in the track on the mast  and boom for the main sail. I picked up a 
spare mainsail and need to adapt it. thanks for your input
