Your "42E" number is an old Ontario boat registration.  You can trace her by contacting the Ontario Ministry of Transport at Queen's Park, Toronto.

  John, thanks for the information. Tait  Tait is registered, in the U.K. , but I want to trace some of her history if I can.It seems to be a bit unusual (42ESJ82) but it may mean something to the Canadian Registry.
