[Alberg30] anchor line danger

I don't claim to be an expert at anchoring in these conditions, but one
thing that could be a problem is that at a depth of 30', even with 25' of
chain, the scope in normal conditions of 4:1 would call for 120' (plus
freeboard) of rode.
In the windy conditions you cited, I would go to 7:1 or 210' (plus
freeboard) feet of rode.
The extra scope and angle may well help with the problem you've cited. I've
been in somewhat similar conditions, but with the extra rode, and haven't
had the problem you are talking about....
