That sounds like a great idea. So far I have only had two responses. When I get the new member book I will send emails directly to those in the tri-state area. I think we should start a LI Sound A30 Association.

To Shawn Orr (and other area A30's)
I'll let you know about Towney's answers to my L.I.Sound NOOD Questions.
On a different topic, How about a rendezvous?
I just started communicating this way a short time ago. In one of my first postings to this list, I tried to throw out there, the idea of a get together for all the "New York Area" A30's. There wasn't even the hint of a response at the time. I've since bumped Emails with a fellow Alberger in Brooklyn, who keeps his boat in Ct. I've invited him to take a sail in my waters with me which hopefully will happen after my boat gets wet again, this year. That's the closest response to a rendezvous so far. Can I suggest that if and as you get responses to your NOOD effort, maybe you can throw out this idea as well.
Who knows, maybe we can start a local chapter, albeit we could never match the activity and camaraderie of Annapolis. (read that as a challenge all you North East Albergers)
