Shawn,

You may want to think twice before starting an Association.  It's
a lot of work just to keep one going.  But a rendezvous on LI Sound
is an excellent idea.  You should do it and write it up for the
Mainsheet.

And then, you should plan to do one every year.  Make it a tradition
and send it to the Cruising Commodore for inclusion in the cruising
schedule.
