[Alberg30] Head Maintenance

I am about to install new leathers in my heads hand pump and don't
remember if I should put any lubricant on them or just put them in the
way it comes out of the box.  O-by the way ... I'm having to do this
after pouring a pint of cheap (real cheap) vodka into the head last fall
when I was putting the boat up for the winter... vodka likes leather...
eatem-up!
