Apparently this stuff by Star Bright, which is a "liquid electrical
tape" @ $7 per brush on can, is excellent. You paint it on and it seals the
wire ends and connections from corrosion. Multiple layers make a better
seal. Wish I'd had it for that mast-light work a few weeks ago.

Running cool isn't the cause, I don't think. This
could be almost anything, I'd suspect a bad condenser
or damaged coil if you are sure it isn't fuel starved.
Bad coils can seem fine until things warm up, and can
be intermitent.

Everyone
I've got a Grey Marine Sea Scout 91. There is a home made vacume break on
the overboard water line between the thermostat and the Exhaust. For the
life of me I can't figure out why. I have a vertus lift exhaust. Any ideas
why this might be there?
